INDUSTRY
The Tabor City Industrial Park consists of 63 acres of land located on the north side of the City. The Park was developed by the Tabor City Committee of 100 in cooperation with the Town of Tabor City and the Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation (BEMC). The Park has approximately 30 acres available for future development. Current occupants include: Southeastern Materials, Inc., Quality Linen Inc., Tabor City Public Works Department, Fast.net Internet Service Provider, and Cindy Rabon, CPA. The park has all new infrastructure to include water, sewer, natural gas and a T-1 Line. Recent improvements in cellular phone service have been made by Cingular and Alltel. It is anticipated that a power substation will be built that will accommodate the new correctional facility to be constructed.
