Tabor City Christmas Parade Through the Lights Thursday, Dec, 6th at 6:00pm

Plans are in the works for the 26th Annual Tabor City “Christmas Parade Through the Lights” which will be held on Thursday, December 6th at 6:00pm in downtown Tabor City!! The Tabor City Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring our event and Chief Donald Dowless and the Tabor City Police Department would like to invite everyone to come out and enjoy all the festivities!!! This is always a magical night and a very special one since we are the only night time Christmas parade in the county!!! Make plans to attend and kick off your holiday season with us!!! If you are royalty and hold a title, we would love to have you participate. If you are interested in riding in the parade or participating by decorating a float, car, truck, golf cart or 4-wheeler with holiday lights, or advertising your business please contact Gayle Buffkin at 653-3149 and she will share with you the details and get you signed up!! Tossing of candy is allowed in the parade as well as horses. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, December 5th at noon. Applications can be picked up at the Tabor City Police Department and the Tabor City Visitor Center. Once your application is filled out, you can either drop them off at the police department or fax them to Gayle at fax # 910-653-4889. Donations from the parade will be given to the Tabor City Library. Let’s make this year’s Tabor City Christmas Parade the biggest and best one ever!!!!
