“Little Free Library” In Tabor City is OPEN!!!!

A dedication of the “Little Free Library” took place on Thursday, July 13th at the Tabor City Visitor Center!!! The library was donated by Bell Appliance and the Bell family of Tabor City. The Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange for children.

We encourage children to sit on our benches or come into our Visitor Center and read a book as well!!! Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that inspires the love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world. We are so happy to have one in our fair town.

If you are interested in donating new or gently used children’s books to our Little Free Library, you can drop them off at the Tabor City Visitor Center Monday-Friday 8:30 am -4:30 pm or Saturday’s 10:00am – 2:00pm.

An article by Clara Cartrette highlighting our “Little Free Library” is coming soon so stayed tuned to learn more information regarding this wonderful project and how it all came to be!!!

Thank you again to Bell Appliance and the Bell family for there generous donation!!!
